It's such a dreary day today, I thought this was a good day to post a picture I took of a sunflower. My friend Barb (my daughter Ashley's mother in law) let me know that the sunflowers they planted were out in bloom. It brought back memories of Ashley & Braden's wedding day last September. Barb and Randy had planted part of a field in sunflowers for the special day. And they were beautiful as they bloomed just in time for the wedding...

The beauty of a sunflower's characteristics is that it's face follows the sun. Even on a cloudy day it still finds and follows the sun. Much like our lives if we want them to be productive and worthwhile. xo
